In case you find that the bleeding is excessive, an effective old home remedy is to use tea bags. Simply dampen a regular tea bag, remove excess water, and apply it to the extraction site(s). The tanic acid present in the tea leaves will aid in clotting. If necessary, you can use multiple tea bags and replace them as they become saturated with blood. Feel free to repeat this process as often as needed.
